Tomato soup diet is considered to be one of the most efficient dieting methods. It can melt up to 10 kg in 10 days, if kept properly. Here’s how to properly follow the diet to get results:
For starters, there are 4 rules that must absolutely be followed:
- Consume the tomato soup for 10 days, without stopping
- Drink 2l of water a day
- Give up bread, sugar, alcohol and fizzy drinks throughout the diet
- Consume 4-5 meals daily
One of the upsides of choosing tomato soup diet is that tomato soup is so easy to prepare and store. It lasts well in the fridge, meaning that you don’t have to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. You can make more and have it ready for the next day.
Here’s a nurturing way of preparing tomato soup to get the vitamins necessary throughout the diet: 6 tomatoes, broccoli, 2 green peppers and celery (double the amounts if you want to make more). Chop up the vegetables and boil them at medium heat for 25 minutes. Add a spoon of olive oil to improve digestion, and season it with basil, salt and pepper. You can have it hot or cold, depending on preference.
During these 10 days, you must consume tomato soup every day (you can eat it whenever you feel hungry), and you can include in your diet fresh fruits and vegetables (avoid bananas or grapes, potatoes and corn), and also grilled or oven-baked chicken and fish.
One day and one day only you can also eat wild rice for lunch. Don’t associate it with anything. Eat it plain. This doesn’t exclude tomato soup. Remember, you can eat it every day.
Avoid eating after 6 pm, if you go to bed at 10. Basically, leave 3-4 hours for digestion before heading to bed.
