Eggs contain proteins and calcium, sodium, iron, and vitamins A, D, B6 and B12. They’re not only delicious and nutritious, but they can also be used in the making of efficient beauty treatments for hair or skin.
Eggs are great for counteracting time passing. They make a great anti-aging treatment, alongside honey and clay. To make such a treatment you need one egg white, 3 spoons of honey and 3 spoons of clay. Apply the mask on your face and neck and leave until it dries. Rinse with warm water. You can use the mask twice a week.
Don’t throw away the egg shelves. Use them to exfoliate and get rid of dead skin cells, especially on your knees and elbows. Process 4 or 5 egg shelves in a blender until you get a powder. Put the powder in a recipient and add a spoonful of honey and one of salt. Mix the ingredients well together until you get a smooth paste. Use the paste in the shower, and apply it all over your body using a sponge. Massage well and rinse with warm water.
If you’re nails are brittle and they often break or exfoliate, in a small recipient, mix one egg yolk with a quarter of a cup of warm milk. Soak your nails in this mixture for 10 minutes and then rinse with warm water. Use this remedy every day to get strong, healthy nails.
To make sure that your hair is healthy and happy, use this mask at least once a week: beat up 2 eggs with 4 spoons of yogurt. Apply the mask on your hair and scalp and cover your hair with plastic foil. Leave to act for 30 minutes and then wash your hair as normal.
To give your hair volume, in a bowl, mix one egg with the juice of a lemon. Mix well using a fork until it toughens. Use the same procedure as above.
Eggs can also help counteract baggy eyes. Beat up well one egg white and apply it all around the eyes using your fingers or a brush. Leave on until absorbed or dry and rinse with cold water.
You can also use eggs if you have oily skin, to get the sebum excess off. Mix one egg white with half a cup of oat flour. Massage your face with the obtained paste and leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse with cold water.
